It’s been a hot minute since I’ve shared pictures of our accommodations, and our Airbnb in Stockholm was super cute, so LET’S DO THIS.
Here’s the entryway.
Instead of “all is pretty,” I think that poster should say, “all of this apartment is pretty.” On a related note, I am extremely jealous of how chic Europeans are.
This wall of prints was also near the front door.
I love that one of those prints just says “TACOS.” (Our host, Nathalie, clearly has her food priorities straight.)
Also, please note all the other English phrases. It’s reminiscent of how Americans decorate their house with random French or Italian sayings. Except in this case, English is the cool foreign language. (Weird!)
The bedroom was fun too.
But I didn’t get an awesome picture of the bed, because I was way more concerned with the dreamcatcher and Christmas lights.
And her hanging closet!
She moved the majority of her clothes so we could use the hangers. I’m prettyyyy sure she owns more than just party dresses and sparkly heels.
Also, the bathroom was notable because it was one of the biggest bathrooms we’ve had all trip. (Amazingly, we could both be in it at the same time. Woo!)
And even her toiletries were cute.
Seriously, can someone please teach me how to be European?? I love their minimalist style. So functional, but still so cute. It absolutely kills me (and my hoarder, clutter-everywhere tendencies).
Let’s move on to the kitchen. (Sleek as ever, of course.)
And the dining area.
(Yes, we used her mason jars for ALL of our beverages. Is that even a question?)
And here’s the living room.
Gigantic mirror, cozy blanket, and elephant pillow. (Yes, yes, and yes.)
Airbnb has definitely been a surprise during our travels. I had used it several times before this trip for domestic travel, but it has been AMAZING how we have consistently been able to find great apartments for great prices. Our Airbnbs easily beat hotel prices, and often even beat hostel prices.
If you’ve never tried it, I strongly encourage you to look for an Airbnb the next time you travel! It’s really great for budget travel (although there are also plenty of fancy places if that’s more your style).
You can even use my Airbnb code! If it’s your first time using Airbnb, click HERE to save $35 on your first trip. (This will also give us $35 in credit, which will allow us to continue backpacking on a budget. Woo! Thanks!)
