Y’all, we ate at some ril cute cafés in Barcelona. Here’s a quick roundup of my #Fav4.
Alsur Café – Llúria
If for some reason you forgot how much I love this place, read my full blog post here. I’m obsessed. #LQQCQ
Do I really need to remind you about the grilled cheese waffle sandwich with avocado and bacon?? 😍
Betlam – Miscellanía Gastronomíca
Bright red door, awning, and adorable outside seating.
For the record, they actually gave me an entire muffin, I just couldn’t help but eat half of it before taking the picture. It was orange and dark chocolate flavored and tasted like one of those Terry’s Orange Chocolate balls that you whack on the table and eat at Christmas time.
And THAT JUICE. Easily the best fresh-squeezed orange juice I’ve ever had in my life. I think I could have downed an entire gallon, but the little glass makes you savor every sip.
Gimeno – Forn Patissería Cafetería
The sweetest lady ever works here. I wanted to give her a hug after talking to her for like 2 minutes, even though our conversation was entirely about ordering food and getting the Wifi password.
Plus, they have yummy pastries and coffee and plenty of seating, so you can post up in Gimeno for a couple of hours and straight #lounge.
Churrería Laietana
Churros and chocolate have become a pretty mandatory stop for me in Spain. This was a cute hole-in-the-wall place, and the man that runs it has many skills, including making delicious churros and laughing while I take pictures of everything.
Splitting one mug of chocolate and one cup of coffee is totally the way to go. Best snack ever.
Umm are you drooling yet? So cute and so delicious. I think that I could do absolutely nothing but eat in Barcelona and be happy. #FOODCATION
